List of Recommendations,
According to each Pilot’s needs:
Mary:
- Provide a font scaling option to ensure the text on every page of the website is easy to read.
- Display the option for font scaling on an easy to access part of the website, such as the homepage under an “options” tab.
- Ensure that each page of the app is scaled so the user only has to swipe vertically while reading on a mobile device.
Louise:
- Illuminate the background white light enough to contrast with the black text to support low light environment reading.
- Provide an easy to access screen reader within the webpage, perhaps also in an “options” tab on the home screen, and have a human voice read any and all text for the comfort of the listener.
- Use brightly hued colors against a dark background on the map to increase visibility and mark each path with a different color for reader clarity of each pathway.
Timothy:
- Avoid grouping large blocks of information on a single page that requires unnecessary elongated attention to the text.
- Do not use overcomplicating words, this will help the reader to more easily understand the meaning of the text.
- Avoid organizing content that requires users to cross reference or double back to another part of the webpage.
